Charges to be framed against Salman

Kamla Bora in Jaipur

A Jodhpur court has fixed January 27 as the date for framing charges under the Arms Act against Bollywood actor Salman Khan for poaching protected wild animals.

Salman Khan is accused of killing two black bucks in October 1998 using illegal arms. Actor Saif Ali Khan and actresses Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam are the co-accused in the case.

Salman Khan will have to be present in the court on January 27 when the presiding officer frames charges against him.

Salman is facing four criminal cases of hunting protected wild animals. Charges in two other cases were filed last year. The hearing in these two cases is also scheduled for January 27.
