Chinese delegation led by
Li Peng arrives in Bombay

Chinese leader and National People's Congress chairman Li Peng arrived in Bombay Tuesday afternoon, with a high-level delegation from Beijing, on a two-day visit.

Peng, who will stay at Taj hotel, will call on Governor Dr P C Alexander at Raj Bhavan in the evening.

He will visit Chhatrapati Shivaji Museum (formerly Prince of Wales Museum) on Wednesday and meet the late Dr A Kotnis's family at the Taj.

Dr Kotnis is held in high esteem in China for his humanitarian work in that country.

The Chinese leader will visit SEEPZ at Andheri and later meet a delegation of Chinese residing in India.

On Thursday morning, Peng will leave for Delhi.
