Parliament sitting on Friday as per schedule

Undeterred by the terrorist attack, Parliament will have its sitting on Friday as per schedule.

This was decided at a meeting of leaders convened by Lok Sabha Speaker G M C Balayogi following the terrorist attack on Parliament House.

However, it is likely that the House will adjourn after condemning Thursday's attack, though this will be decided at a meeting of parliamentary party leaders on Friday morning, Lok Sabha sources said.

The sources said Friday morning's meeting in the speaker's chamber will also take a decision on whether to continue with the session till December 21 as scheduled or adjourn sine die.
