E-Mail this report to a friend

Ramanand S in Gajanur

R R Gopal, the editor of Nakkeeran, entered the forests of Sathyamangalam from Talwadi early this morning between 6.30 and 7 am.

He is accompanied by three of his associates - Subbu, Shiva Subramaniam and Bala Subramaniam. All three work for Nakkeeran magazine.

Meanwhile, the forest region in Talwadi witnessed heavy rainfall last night. This might cause problems for Dr Rajakumar as he is not keeping too well.

Gopal is carrying a letter from the Karanataka Chief minister S M Krishna which gives him the authority to negotiate with Veerappan for the release of the four hostages, including Dr Rajakumar.
