Charity Ball To Aid Indian and American Causes

NEW YORK

The Sixth Annual Charity Concert and Ball to benefit NetIP-NY Foundation, Inc will be held October 16, from 7:30 pm to 1:30 am at the Metropolitan Pavilion, 110 W 19th Street (between 7th and 8th Avenues).

The same evening, 'Destination India' features a concert by FUNKADESI, Chicago's Premiere Indian-Funk-Reggae Fusion Band, 7:30 to 10 pm and other select Indian cultural performances. The sound design and post concert ball features DJ Magic Mike till 1.30 am.

Appetizers and full course dinner is catered by Jewel of India, at 9.30 pm to midnight.

NetIP-NY Foundation, Inc is a non-profit organization registered with the IRS. Funds raised from this Charity Concert and Ball will be used by the NetIP-NY Foundation to provide charitable and educational services in the Tri-state area and India. Activities that NetIP-NY Foundation intends to use the donated funds include the Educational Resources Fund for the year 2000, to grant scholarships to qualifying south Asian students, to provide grants to various organizations that perform charitable services in India, and sponsoring of community service projects in the Tri-state area.

Required attire is Indian or American formal. Proof of age of 21 years and over with photo ID will be required at the door.

The grand sponsor of the event is Chaitime.com, the platinum sponsors are MetLife, Air India, and the gold sponsors, The Equitable.

A portion of the admission to this event may be tax-deductible.

NetIP-NY will be accepting donations to the foundation at the event. So bring your chequebook to this event and make direct tax-deductible donations to the NetIP-NY Foundation.

Admission for the event with dinner (and cash bar) NetIP members $ 50 per person, non-members $ 60 per person for registration and on-line purchase made before October 8. $ 70 per person regardless of the membership status after October 8.
