Russia blasts Pak for nuke clash threat

E-Mail this report to a friend

Russia has denounced Pakistan's threat of a 'nuclear clash' over the recent Kargil incidents.

Referring to Pakistani scientist Abdul Qadir Khan's statement that ''Pakistan possesses enough nuclear weapons to defend itself'', Voice of Russia reminded Islamabad of ''India possessing it too in its store in plenty''.

However, the fact that the Kargil clash could pave way for a nuclear flashpoint is a matter of concern for all, the radio added.
