E-Mail this report to a friend

Naxalites of the outlawed People's War blasted an under-construction police station building near the Andhra Pradesh special police's 7th battalion headquarters at Dichpally in Nizamabad district early Monday.

Police said the attack was by the Sirnipally dalam (squad). A wall has developed cracks from the explosion, caused by gelatine explosives.

The Naxalites fled into the forest after police opened 20 rounds of fire, they added.
