No base for ISI in Bangladesh: Hasina

E-Mail this report to a friend

Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wajed on Friday said she would not allow Pakistan's Inter Services Intelligence to use her country for carrying out clandestine activities in neighbouring countries.

Addressing the media in Calcutta, Wajed said her government would take all necessary steps to prevent this. Bangladesh would not allow any Indian insurgent group to operate from its soil either, she added.

"We have always taken necessary action whenever we came to know of such an activity," she said.
