Nightmare on Flight 814: The Aftermath

The hijacking of the Indian Airlines Airbus 300 on December 24, the traumatic drama that followed, and the release of 3 hardcore terrorists to secure the passengers' release, has shocked all of India.

In a rearguard action, India has demanded of the world community to declare Pakistan a terrorist state, a demand that has been turned down by the United States on grounds of insufficient evidence.

What do you think? Is there grounds for Pakistan - on the basis of the recent hijack crisis - to be declared as a rogue state? Or is India shooting in the dark, trying to deflect domestic criticism by pointing at the convenient foreign hand? Do let us know.
