No arms race in the region: Krishan Kant

Vice-President Krishan Kant today ruled out any arms race in the region following the nuclear tests conducted by India and Pakistan.

Krishan Kant, who arrived in Bangalore on a two-day visit to Karnataka, told the media at the airport that he had analysed the situation and he was optimistic that there would not be any arms race in the region.
