Govt to seek opinion of political parties on CTBT

The Bharatiya Janata Party-led coalition government will decide on the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty only after consulting the country's top political leaders.

Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee said, "We will discuss the issue with various political leaders, during the day and tomorrow (Friday)."

Vajpayee had declined comment on a number of questions related to the nuclear tests on Monday and Wednesday.
