Workers kill boss in Goa

A group of workers from a leading mining company have killed a senior official and assaulted another after they were dismissed from office at Pale in interior Goa.

The police said the incident occurred on Saturday. Balkrishna Salunke was killed and V M Pandey assaulted. The workers were on strike.

Chief Minister Luzinho Faleiro has condemned the attack and ordered a probe into it.
