Congratulate Rahman, Zakir Hussain!

India is indeed shining.

On Monday, we woke up to the news that A R Rahman won the BAFTA award in the best music score category for Slumdog Millionaire [ Images ]. Besides Rahman, Resul Pookutty also did India proud when he received the prize for the best sound.

And the good news didn't just stop there.

There was a strong Indian presence at the Grammy [ Images ] awards too. Tabla maestro Zakir Hussain won in the Contemporary World Music Album category for his collaborative album Global Drum Project.
