Back then, Amitabh Bachchan's booming voice heralded an exciting hour of Kaun Banega Crorepati. Or, Indian Idol would showcase some fine talent and lots of interesting drama.
Fast forward to present day, and what have you? A mind-boggling number of reality shows, all vying for your attention. From Rakhi Sawant's antics to bickerings behind the scenes and sometimes right before your eyes, reality shows are here to stay.
But more doesn't necessarily mean better.
