Phir Hera Pheri poised to become hit!

Gujarat or no Gujarat, Fanaa has been declared a superhit! Despite controversies, the film is Aamir Khan's big earner after Rang De Basanti.

Meanwhile, last week's releases -- both comedies -- taste different successes.

The Neeraj Vora-directed Phir Hera Pheri, like its original, opened to a bumper response, and is poised to become a hit. Ironically, the director of the first Hera Pheri, Priyadarshan, did not enjoy the same response for his new film, Chup Chup Ke, which opened on the same day.

Note: Films are ranked according to their release dates.
