Many readers voted Mallika Sherawat's [ Images ] passionate clinch with Ashmit Patel [ Images ] in Murder as their hottest scene in Hindi cinema when we asked them on Monday.

Murder (2004), inspired by the Richard Gere-starrer Unfaithful, was an unexpected hit and made Ms Sherawat -- whose unrestrained performance in the movie's steamy scenes are noteworthy -- something of a star.
