Even as Mallika Sherawat's [ Images ] next film, Shaadi Se Pehle [ Images ], is some distance away, the Haryana babe showed up to upstage stallions at the annual Poonawala racing event.

The Pune event is often referred to as India's [ Images ] equivalent of The Royal Ascot races.

Mallika, clad in an uncharacteristically modest white dress, arrived at the venue via helicopter, and joined actor Jackie Shroff [ Images ] on the event's podium.
