Coming up: Traffic Signal

Talk about a makeover.

Actress Neetu Chandra, last seen bouncing around as one of Akshay Kumar's [ Images ] bimbettes in Garam Masala, has been completely transformed for her role in Madhur Bhandarkar's [ Images ] new film, Traffic Signal [ Images ].

The film is about the underbelly of Mumbai [ Images ] city, as seen from a busy traffic intersection. The director is trying to point out the cross-section of varied life that goes on there, from the begging industry to the eunuchs, from the streetwalkers to the vendors selling pirated novels.

The film also starts Kunal Khemu [ Images ], Ranvir Sheorey, Konkona Sensharma, and director Sudhir Mishra.

Traffic Signal is scheduled to hit theatres in February 2007.
