Ravi Chopra answers, Salman is playing the son of Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini and it is a very very close knit family where they all love each other tremendously. He is literally the youngster of today, fun loving and full of beans.

Sony asked, Hi I saw Baghban and Loved it. Looking forward to see Baabul. One request to you sir !!! Please Tell Mr.Bachchan to take singing as full time profession along with acting. The 'Keheta hai Baabul' and 'Main yahan tu vahan' from Baghban are mind blowing. I am serious about it. Please direct more films like these and make Mr. Bachchan sing for the filsm too.

Ravi Chopra answers, Baabul means the father of the bride. In this film we are showing how father-in-law becomes the father of the bride. That is the reason for the title.

Ravi Chopra answers, We think so that is why we have made Baabul. Family emotion is the strongest emotion in India and we are catering to that in Baabul which is a complete family entertainer.

Ravi Chopra answers, Kishoreda was really fantastic and was good for every actor. But sometimes when you need the singer to emote the songs then the artist doing the role would be able to do it the best.

Ravi Chopra answers, Family values I believe are very important to us Indians because we really find ourselves in our families. Films concerning these values must be made because they are really the soul of India.

Ravi Chopra answers, It is basically the story of the rehabilitation of a daughter-in-law by her father-in-law.

Ravi Chopra answers, Because he was best suited for the role. He is playing a young man who loves his parents, is a pal to his father, flirts with his mother and generally has joie-de-vivre.

Ravi Chopra answers, That is not true. I have films of different genres also and the next film I am making is a comedy. I only work on good stories unless there is a story which is good enough to put on film I do not get excited by it.

Ravi Chopra answers, Sometimes from life, sometimes from other writers or books.

Ravi Chopra answers, The film is about the younger generation and the interaction of the older generation with it. Rani, Salman and John are the younger generation and the film is a lot of fun and a lot of emotion.

Ravi Chopra answers, There seems to be lot of expectations and people seem to be waiting for Baabul. The British press was really excited about the film and the excerpts which we showed them.

Ravi Chopra answers, In this film though there is emotion and you may cry. We are talking of hope and in this film we have tried to make you laugh in the first half and maybe a little emotional in the second half. This is a film where we are talking about hope for a lot of young women.

Ravi Chopra answers, I like my films to do the talking for me. I like it that way.

observer asked, Baaghban was very similar to the Telugu film "Badipantulu" released in 1973. Similarly, the theme of Baabul reminds me of a Kannada film "Vamsavrksha" from the 1970's 0r 1980's. Have you been inspired by these films in any way? Or are these actual remakes?
Ravi Chopra answers, Unfortunately I have not seen either of these films. So cannot react. There are great film makers in both the Telugu and the Kannada film industry but unfortunately I am not very conversant with the industry.

Ravi Chopra answers, This is something which my father started with and something which we believe in. Its not that we look for a story with a message. We look for a good story and try to build a message in that. Sometimes that story might not allow that to happen in which case we are not able to give you a message.

Ravi Chopra answers, Definitely. I for one feel that he has done an even better performance in Baabul that in Baghban.

Ravi Chopra answers, We believe in socially relevant films because we think we have a very strong medium in our hand and we would like to not only entertain but also enlighten. Dad is okay as good as he can be at this age.

Ravi Chopra answers, I am making two films in 2007 and hopefully in 2008 I will make Mahabharat as a film in a six-hour format, which will be released in two consecutive weeks.

Ravi Chopra answers, They were the best for the role in Baabul.

Ravi Chopra answers, After the script was ready I started casting and for that role I liked John Abraham and talked to him. It was very different from the roles he has done before but he loved it and thats how we are working together.

Ravi Chopra answers, I do not believe in remakes so it is difficult for me to tell you who would be cast in it. Shah Rukh is a great actor and I am sure we will work together some time soon.

Ravi Chopra answers, The pace of Baabul is really very fast. Every script has its own pace and you cannot fool around with that.
