Cable TV operators in Mumbai have resumed transmission after suspending services for more than 24 hours. Police say operators have flouted a ban on films rated A or U/A by the Indian Censor Board.

The operators, on the other hand, maintain that they cannot monitor content provided by foreign channels. Stuck in the middle of this row are poor viewers, with their favourite movie channels still off the air.
