Three big Bollywood films will hit the marquee next week, with the filmmakers hoping the Diwali [ Images ] and Eid festivities will spur holidayers to flock to movie theatres.
Kyon Ki [ Images ], directed by Priyadarshan [ Images ] and starring Salman Khan [ Images ] and Kareena Kapoor [ Images ], releases on November 2.
Garam Masala [ Images ], another Priyadarshan film, starring Akshay Kumar [ Images ] and John Abraham [ Images ], also arrives on the same day.
November 3 is the date slapstick king David Dhawan's [ Images ] latest, Shaadi No 1, starring Sanjay Dutt [ Images ], Ayesha Takia [ Images ], Fardeen Khan [ Images ] and Zayed Khan [ Images ], will hit theatres.
All the movies seem aimed at the funny bone, and there are a lot of big names involved.
