Prakash Jha's new film, Apaharan, saw an unexpected 'welcome' at the ongoing International Film Festival of India, in Goa.

The movie's premiere was scheduled to start at 6 pm, but the cast -- including Ajay Devgan and Bipasha Basu -- and the director walked in about 40 minutes late.

The audience was clearly not ready to accept this treatment at a film festival and booed the trio. They were not even allowed to speak.

Devgan managed an apology, but the film's screening was started without the scheduled presentation.

But this was not the end of Jha's woes.

Ten minutes into the film, it was stopped because four men were caught with video cameras filming the screen!

The police then intervened, and everyone in possession of a camera was cleared out. The audience was even told that the police would physically search the theatre, and people with cameras would be punished.

After much confusion, the screening started again.

The film will release on December 2.
