The world first noticed Knightley when she won the high profile role of Sabe, Decoy Queen to Queen Amidala (Natalie Portman) in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, in 1999. Interestingly, while shooting, the similarity between both actresses was so strong that their own mothers could not tell them apart once they had put on their makeup.
Since then, she has gone on to star in an astonishing number of films, the biggest being Bend It Like Beckham (where she plays footballer Jules Paxton) and Pirates Of The Caribbean (as Elizabeth Swann).
