The mahurat of Sahara One's forthcoming film, Home Delivery, was a tad different from regular mahurats for two reasons. First, it was to start at 7:30 in the morning. Second, it actually started on time!

Starring Vivek Oberoi (who did not attend), Mahima Chaudhary, Ayesha Takia and Boman Irani, the film is directed by Sujoy Ghosh of Jhankaar Beats fame.

The sets included a pizza shop called Mummy's Pizza. Ghosh said his new film "is about delivering pizzas, and along with that, we are also delivering a message."

"The story is about Sunny (Oberoi), and what happens in his life in 24 hours. Boman Irani plays an old man looking for a job. Mahima plays an actress," the director added.

The comedy film also sees a guest appareance by Karan Johar, playing himself. "My film has a role of a director, and I requested Karan. Juhi Chawla is also doing a cameo," said Ghosh.

The director admitted that there was a two-year gap between his directorial debut Jhankaar Beats and Home Delivery because it "took a lot of time to find people to finance the film."

Ayesha plays Jenny, "a sweet, simple Catholic girl, who believes in moral values. My character does not work in Mummy's Pizza. My boyfriend, Vivek Oberoi, orders a pizza from there."

Mahima said she was "going to add spice to the pizza. There are a lot of preachers who say do this and don't do that, but they end up making the same mistakes in life."
