The film seemed to be the very epitome of romance, and established SRK [ Images ] and Kajol [ Images ] as the best jodi of the time.

On May 13, DDLJ completes 500 weeks at a Mumbai [ Images ] theatre, Maratha Mandir, where it has been running everyday since its release.
