Some actors are just made for 'big' movies. After The Lord Of The Rings trilogy and Pirates Of The Caribbean, Orlando Bloom has now confirmed he is all set to play a young James Bond in the 'origin' segment of the next James Bond film, Casino Royale.
Orlando will play a teenaged James studying at Eton where he displays exemplary skills as an amateur spy.
'I love the idea, in principle, as he can be far more adventurous, and do more stunts. This is as near as I think I will get to playing the grown-up James for the next 20 years,' Hello magazine quoted Bloom as saying.
Meanwhile, speculations over who will replace Pierce Brosnan as the next adult 007 continue.
GoldenEye's Martin Campbell has signed on to direct Casino Royale, the cast of which is slated to include names like Ewan McGregor, and Jude Law.
The rumours still persist that Closer star Clive Owen has been finalised as the next James Bond.
