Shah Rukh Khan [ Images ] seems set on giving Aamir Khan [ Images ] a run for his gimmicky status.

Aamir moustache'd it for The Rising, Shah Rukh stuck one on for his upcoming Paheli [ Images ].

And while Aamir's long locks were the talk of the town, now we see SRK [ Images ] with a ponytail, tucking his backbrushed hair neatly into a green rubberband.

Shah Rukh's latest look made heads turn at Mumbai's [ Images ] J W Mariott hotel on Wednesday night.

The star was the chief guest at a function celebrating 100 days of the Punjabi movie Des Hoya Pardes, starring Gurdas Mann and Juhi Chawla [ Images ].

Now be prepared for the surge in Bollywood ponytails!
