BO verdict against Bachchan's Viruddh

Last week's release Viruddh saw Amitabh Bachchan give one of his best performances till date. And after a long while, Mahesh Manjrekar gave the audience a film worth watching.

But while critics loved it, audiences didn't not welcome Viruddh as warmly. It recieved an average to poor opening.

Meanwhile, even though family audiences largely kept away from Salman Khan's Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya due to strong protests against the film from the Bharatiya Janata Party, it has performed quite well.

Note: Films are ranked according to their release dates.
