That's Amitabh Bachchan's characteristic baritone giving away the basic theme of Shaad Ali Sahgal's new film, Bunty Aur Babli. Like his directorial debut, Saathiya, this one is also produced under the Yash Raj Films banner.

Starring Big B, the film also features Aishwarya Rai in an item song. The story, however, revolves around two other B's: Bunty (Abhishek Bachchan) and Babli (Rani Mukerji). This desi Bonnie and Clyde go about life conning all and sundry.
And, they find plenty of time to sing songs composed by the sprightly Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy trio.
It doesn't require much effort to get hooked to Dhadak dhadak. The ears react readily to the catchy and vibrant lyrics. Trust Gulzar and his charming play of words.
Chup chup ke tries to follow Dhadak dhadak in a somewhat subdued manner. But it's not as fancy. The song, which might grow on you after repeated listening, tends to stretch a bit.
Brace yourself for the must-have Punjabi track. Don't expect Kal Ho Naa Ho's marriage anthem, Mahi ve, here. But to Nach baliye's credit, it's sufficiently racy and foot tapping. On the flip side, the arrangement is too cluttered and there are too many unnecessary 'come ons'. The infectious enthusiasm in Shankar Mahadevan, Somya Raoh and Loy Mendonsa's voice just might get you. though.
Gulzar's writing and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy's effervescent beats join forces to create the rocking title track. If the ethnicity of Bunty aur Babli is too hard for the urban wannabe to figure out, there is an English version called B n B.
Performed by lyricist and singer Blaaze with Shankar and Loy, it sounds perfect for a background score against the onscreen adventures of Mr and Ms B.
If you thought Alisha Chinai was limited to oozing oomph in pop numbers, be prepared to be pleasantly surprised with Kajra re, another showstopper in this saucy soundtrack. This part-qawwaali, part-western, flashy song, sung 1960s style, is a feast for admirers of fiery item numbers.
On the whole, the music of Bunty Aur Babli, with its over the top, uninhibited, rustic and teasing spices, makes for one helluva musical masala.
