Is Salman Khan's eyepopping run at the box office this year ending?
No one expected his recent Phir Milenge to rewrite records at the box office, but Sallu's army of fans can make just about any film work at the box office. Just check what his star charisma turned Garv -- which no one expected to do well, let alone become one of the year's biggest hits -- into. Sallu's latest release Dil Ne Jise Apna Kahaa has opened to a poor response. It is bro-in-law Atull Agnihotri's first film as director and co-stars Bollywood's Heroine No 1 Preity Zinta and the very happening Bhoomika Chawla. "If the film becomes a hit," Salman told rediff.com, "the credit goes to Atull. If it doesn't do well, I will be responsible because that would mean I didn't play Rishabh's role properly. My character is fantastic. The film's success and failure depends on that." We thought the actor was being modest. But after watching Dil Ne... there may be more than a grain of truth in what Sallu says!
