As the marriage ceremony of actress Raveena Tandon with film distributor Anil Thadani got under way on Friday evening, the starry-eyed actress said, "I feel like a princess."
Attired in a gorgeous blue lehenga, Raveena, who weds Anil in a temple on a picturesque island in Pichhola Lake on Sunday, said she was fascinated with the lake city ever since her first shooting some years ago.
"I love this city, its beautiful lakes and palaces. The place is so charming that I cannot think of selecting any other place as my marriage venue," she said.
Raveena said that she would be wearing the same dress that her mother wore on her marriage 35 years ago, the groom will wear a Jodhpuri sherwani, Mewari turban and Jodhpuri shoes, said dress designer Manan Gangwani.
The sangeet for the wedding is scheduled to be held at the City Palace on Friday night followed by a candlelight dinner. The function is closed to media.
