Just because they don't drape animals around their shoulders doesn't mean they can't have a sense of humour. The People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals (PETA) Worst Dressed list is an annual fixture that never fails to provide topical hilarity.
Heading this year's list was the The View show host Jones Reynolds, followed closely by supermodel Cindy Crawford. In a strikingly blatant show of hypocrisy, Crawford, who took part in a memorable PETA 'I'd rather go naked than wear fur' campaign about 10 years ago, has recently been signed on to model Blackgama's furs.
Jennifer Lopez made the list for her outlandish outfits, and PETA couldn't resist a jab as they prodded the singer: 'The lives of the animals she wears are like her relationships: short and painful.'
Also making the unenviable cut was TV star and one half of the Olsen twins, 18-year-old blonde Ashley Olsen. The charity dispensed advice to the former child-star, explaining: 'Here's a tip on adjusting to life at New York University: The Big Apple is not the Yukon -- you don't need to look like Bigfoot in order to fit in.'
Ouch. Now sit back and wait for the scathing response from the Save Our Celebrities organisation.
