First Look: Dhoom

From the producers of this year's big hit, Hum Tum [ Images ], comes Dhoom.

While the Saif Ali [ Images ] Khan-Rani Mukerji starrer was a soft romance, Dhoom is more about speed and bike gangs.

Produced under the Yash Chopra [ Images ] banner and starring Abhishek Bachchan [ Images ], John Abraham [ Images ], Uday Chopra [ Images ], Esha Deol [ Images ] and Rimii Sen [ Images ], Dhoom is directed by Sanjay Gadhvi (Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai).

Abhishek, playing Jai Dixit, is the cop on the trail of a bikers gang, led by John's character.

Jai, who has no idea about speed and bikes, asks garage mechanic Ali (Uday Chopra) -- a superpro with bikes -- to help him nab the gang.

Dhoom -- whose music, thanks to Sunidhi Chauhan's fantastic title number, is creating Huge Buzz -- will release on August 27.
