October 24 is a very important day for Subhash Ghai.

It was the day he got married; the day he founded his production company Mukta Arts; and the day he launched most of his films, right from Karz.

This year, the director celebrated the silver jubilee of Mukta Arts.

Mumbai's Hyatt Regency saw a grand event on Diwali (October 24) to mark Mukta Arts' 25 years. Maharashtra Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde was the chief guest.

Television and film actress Divya Dutta hosted the show.
