Vijaypat Singhania turns producer

Industrialist Vijaypat Singhania has now decided to turn producer.

His debut film, which will be directed by Kuku Kohli, is called Woh Tera Naam Tha [ Images ]. Set in Madhya Pradesh [ Images ] in 1956, the film is the story of a Hindustani classical music exponent and his daughter. It will star Amrish Puri, Kanchi Kaul, Gaurav Chanana, Rajeev Verma, Rajit Bedi and Prem Chopra [ Images ].

Singhania has also tried his hand at textiles, hospitals, educational institutions, animal husbandry and news publications.
