Diwali is Bollywood's favourite festival; most Diwalis see the release of big blockbusters. No surprise then that, this Diwali, five films are scheduled to hit the marquee.

Chandraprakash Dwivedi, who made the popular television serial Chanakya, debuts on the big screen with Pinjar. It boasts of elaborate sets, including an entire village created in Mumbai's Film City by Muneesh Sappel. The film is based on Amrita Pritam's book Pinjar (The Skeleton, 1970).

Pinjar, which is the biggest film releasing this Diwali, is touted to have Urmila's best performance yet.
