This week saw the release of two non-masala films.
The thriller Samay, stars Sushmita Sen, and boasts of a very slick and urban look. Chandan Arora's Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon, on the other hand, looked at a village girl who comes to Bollywood because she dreams of becoming another Madhuri Dixit. Unfortunately, neither film appealed to the box office. Note: Films are ranked on the basis of their performance at the box office every week. Though a film may be declared a flop, it may have performed better than the other films that week.  |
