Superstar Amitabh Bachchan turned 61 on October 11.

Guests were invited to Mumbai's Intercontinental The Grand hotel where Bachchan announced the relaunch of Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Limited, as the production house AB Corp, with Ranveer, a film that will star son Abhishek, Sanjay Dutt and Bachchan himself.

The film will be co-produced by Keshu Ramsay's DMS films and directed by Rajkumar Santoshi.

Among the guests at the celebration were Karan [extreme left] -- AB worked with him in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham -- and Yash Johar [centre]
