President A P J Abdul Kalam, cricket star Sachin Tendulkar, film star Amitabh Bachchan, the late astronaut Kalpana Chawla, the late social worker Mother Teresa, and legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar are a few of the luminaries who will feature in the music album, India's Legends.
"We felt the need to dedicate a song to each in an album," said Keshav Rai, director of the album. "The idea was to acknowledge the achievements of those who come topmost in our minds when it comes to doing India proud."
The lyrics of all the songs have been penned by Suraj.
Two songs -- on Chawla and Tendulkar -- have already been recorded. Ravindra Jain has composed and sung the song dedicated to Chawla, while Roopkumar Rathod will compose and sing the one dedicated to Mangeshkar.
The song on Bachchan will be recorded in the next couple of days. It will be presented to him on his 61st birthday on October 11.
