** With Janasheen Feroz Khan returns to direction after five years. His last was Prem Aggan in 1998, which was a huge flop. Janasheen sees the father and son share screen space for the first time.
** Janasheen was not the second film after Prem Aggan that Feroz Khan offered Fardeen. According to reports, Fardeen and Aishwarya Rai were to act in Tera Saath Hai Kitna Pyaara, which was launched in 2000. But the film was shelved.
** Miss India Universe (2000) Celina Jaitley was to make her debut in Janasheen. But since her film Khel, co-starring Suniel Shetty, Sunny Deol and Ajay Jadeja, was completed first, that became her debut film.
** Contrary to rumours, Celina does not play a blind woman in the film. She plays a violinist with blurred vision.
** Denmark-based Pinky Harwani plays the second heroine in the film. Not many know that she holds a master's degree in finance management and had a job in a foreign bank. Her father was co-producer of Dev Anand's Pyar Ka Taraana (1992).
** The special effects for the super bike races in Phillip's Island, Australia, were handled by an Australian company, Beeps. Australian stunt masters were also roped in for the action sequences.
** Janasheen has as many as five music directors. While Feroz Khan reunites with music directors Channi Singh (Yalgaar) and Biddu (Qurbani), he teams up with Anand Raaj Anand, Mrinal Sampat and Sukhwinder Singh for the first time.
** Janasheen is Feroz Khan's second film to be shot in Afghanistan after Dharmatma (1975), starring Feroz, Hema Malini and Rekha.
** Some of the shooting has also been done at Feroz Khan's farm near Bangalore. Incidentally, parts of his earlier films, Yalgaar and Jaanbaaz, were also shot here. This was also the venue for Hrithik Roshan's wedding with Suzanne Khan.
** Model Parmita Katkar dances up a raunchy storm in Marhaba Marhaba, picturised in South Africa. Shabina Khan (Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon) has choreographed the song.
