The man: Out Of Control was originally directed by two directors: Apoorva Asrani and Ramanjit Juneja. Due to creative differences between producer Vashu Bhagnani and Juneja, the latter quit.

A college dropout, Asrani took to film editing at an early age. He won the Filmfare Award for Ram Gopal Varma's Satya when he was just 20. Asrani, who also edited Hansal Mehta's Chhal, had a bit role in the film too (remember the opening scene where a man is killed in a public toilet?).
