John Abraham plays the counter terrorism expert. This is the duo's third film together. They are also acting in Aetbaar, scheduled to release in December.

Mumkin is directed by Tanveeer Khan, who had written the dialogue for films like Raja and Ishq. It is produced by Anil Sharma, who earlier made films like Suhag, Hogi Pyar Ki Jeet and Aashiq. "My dream of becoming a director has finally materialised with this film," said Tanveer.

Roop Kumar Rathod will score the music for the film. The other actors who will act in the film are Priyanshu Chatterjee and television star Shweta Tiwari, who acts as Prerna in Kasuti Zindagi Ki.

John AbrahamAbraham confessed his career is looking upbeat: "I feel I am part of Bollywood now. Everyone is so helpful here. As long as I get good work in the industry, I will keep going."

He revealed that he had a friend who was a counter terrorism expert in Jammu & Kashmir. "When I first heard the script [of Mumkin], I thought, 'My God! This is the story of my friend who was killed by terrorists'."

"I was supposed to visit him in J&K. He had said he would take me around there. Unfortunately, he died before that could happen. My role will be a tribute to him," added John.

Asked whether the duo planned to act in more films, Bipasha said, "There are many offers but not very good ones. When we get good roles, we will sign up for more."
