Jury member and American actress Meg Ryan (When Harry Met Sally, French Kiss, Kate and Leopold) is flanked by French filmmaker and jury president Patrice Chereau and Chinese actor and jury member Jiang Wen.

On the festival's Web site, Ryan says: "This is my third or fourth time in Cannes. The first time I came, I was 17 years old, had two dollars in my pocket, and slept on the beach."
