Madhur Bhandarkar weds

Director Madhur Bhandarkar (Chandni Bar, Satta), tied the knot with interior designer, Renu Namboodripad, on Monday. The ceremony took place at Khar in suburban Mumbai [ Images ].

Madhur, who won great acclaim for Chandini Bar and Satta, the former starring Tabu [ Images ] and the latter, Raveena Tandon, was dressed in a cream sherwani, while the bride wore a red-gold zari embroidered sari.

Among those who attended the wedding celebrations were cricketer Vinod Kambli, actor Jackie Shroff [ Images ] and actress Jaya Bachchan, Kiran Joneja, Tabu, director Ramesh Sippy [ Images ] and Jaidev Thackeray, son of Shiv Sena [ Images ] chief Bal Thackeray [ Images ].
