The minimum amount which one can invest in the public providend
fund (PPF) is Rs 100 per annum and a maximum of Rs 60,000 per annum.
The rate of interest is 11 per cent and is compounded annually.
The PPF account has to be maintained for a period of 15 years.
Here, we are assuming that you put in the same amount every year.
