With Congress accusing him of not inviting the party to the talks on the Singur issue, Governor Gopalkrishna Gandhi has said he had 'factored-in' most points in the Congress resolution on the issue.
The Governor in a letter dated September 8 to West Bengal [ Images ] Pradesh Congress Committee Chief P R Dasmunsi said he had invited chairman of the Standing Committee on Commerce and Industries Sudip Bandopadhay for detailed discussions on his assessment of the situation and suggestions.
Bandhopadhyay, a Congress MLA, had handed over a resolution of the Pradesh Congress Committee to him and he had 'studied the representation with due care and factored-in several of its points in the talks' between West Bengal government and Trinamool Congress [ Images ], he said.
The Governor said the resolution demanded normal traffic on the national highway and he addressed the matter.
