With the inflation rate touching a 13-year high of 11.42 per cent, BJP on Friday launched a scathing attack on the Centre and said that the UPA government does not have any "solution" to curb price rise.

"The UPA government has no solution left to control rising inflation. ...It has run out of ideas," party spokesman Ravi Shankar Prasad said, adding that, "it is a tottering government headed by a sulking Prime Minister."

Prasad alleged that the "UPA calls RBI Governor to hike inflation rate and makes a mandate to 10 Janpath. But what is more shocking is the cruel indifference of the government."

He said that the people had seen through the Congress-led coalition, and called it as "a negative, indifferent government which has failed on all fronts."
