Happiness is the fundamental tenet of economics.

Some researchers say that rich people show far greater satisfaction with life than poor people do, even in rich nations. In other words, the rich are a lot happier than the poor.

Yet others oppose this notion, saying that as incomes rise, the increase in the level of happiness is not as fast. They go on to state that having a lot of money does not really produce a good overall mood.

So does money buy happiness? Or do you think that money has nothing to do with happiness?

Tell us what you think.
