Do you get unsolicited phone calls from business ventures wanting to sell credit cards, insurance policies, travel packages, or any such services or goods?

The Supreme Court has taken cognisance of a public interest litigation that seeks a law to ban such unsolicited calls to cellphone users.

The court has issued notices to the government, the telecom regulator and cellphone companies over the issue, in response to which the government has said that it will come up with a solution within two weeks to prevent unsolicited tele-marketing calls that amount to invasion of privacy.

Have you been troubled by such calls? Do you feel such calls should be banned?
