The Union government on Wednesday assured the Delhi [ Images ] high court that it was keen on implementing the Conditional Access System in Delhi, Mumbai [ Images ], Kolkata [ Images ].

Additional solicitor P P Malhotra, appearing for the Centre, however sought at least 180 days time to implement the scheme.

A division bench headed by acting Chief Jusitce Vijender [ Images ] Jain, however, asked the Centre to file an affidavit on the implementation within two weeks and posted the matter for hearing to July 19.
